Tomatoes
Determinate varieties for processing, picked firm and crated the same morning.
Chillies
Bird eye and cayenne, for drying or fresh export, picked at colour.
Passion fruit
Purple, for juice processors. Sorted by weight and skin condition.
Graded before it leaves the farm, not at your gate
Every consignment is sorted against a written standard at the pack house here, and a copy of the grading sheet travels with the load. If a grade is short on arrival you send the load back and you pay nothing.
