How the money is handled

It is counted by two people
Never one. Both sign the sheet, and neither of them is on staff.

It is banked within a day
Nothing sleeps in the building. The bank slip is attached to the count sheet.

It is spent against a budget
The budget is set once a year by the members and any payment over 500,000 shillings needs three signatures.

It is published
Every quarter, in full, on this site. An outside firm audits it once a year.

No, and nobody is told what anyone gave. The count sheet records totals, not names, unless you ask for a receipt.

Yes. Say which one and it goes there in full. That is tracked separately in the quarterly report.

At any time, with no conversation about it. Standing arrangements are cancelled the day you ask.
