The detail behind each price

How the three tiers differ

Launch is a static website. Up to five pages, built and set. You send us the changes and we make them for you.
Platform adds an admin side. A private area, reached with a staff sign in, where the parts of the site that change are managed, such as a blog, a booking list, or a product catalogue. Your team can run it, or we can.
Platform Plus adds a user side. Your own customers or members sign in to their own accounts and use the parts of the system built for them, on top of a database and the screens and rules your process needs.

What one working feature means on Platform

One working feature means one part of the site that does a job, not just shows text. You get one built into your Platform site.

A booking request form that sends you the details of every enquiry.
A product catalogue you can add to and edit yourself.

Change fees

A minor change is content: text, an image, a price, opening hours, a staff member.
A major change is structure: a new page, a new section, a layout change, a new feature, or rebuilding a page you approved.
Your first pass of up to five minor changes is free, once, during your review.
After that, a pass of minor changes is 50,000 and a pass of major changes is 100,000. The fee is per pass, not per change.
On a care plan, small text and image edits are unlimited.

Domain and hosting

Custom domain: year one included. Renewal from year two at the exact registry price, about 50,000 a year. No handling fee.
Managed hosting: year one included. From year two 250,000 to 400,000 a year.
Virtual private server setup: provider cost passed through, plus a setup fee of 300,000 to 600,000 shillings.

Care plan

You get a dedicated software engineer looking after your site for 50,000 a month.

Care plan, 12 months: 600,000 shillings, paid in advance. You save 100,000 shillings against two 6 month plans.
Care plan, 6 months: 350,000 shillings, paid in advance.
